Westan started life in 1989 as an information technology. Established in 1989, Westan started life as an information technology distribution company specialising in the computer peripherals. The Company grew quickly and by 2005 became one of the largest IT distributors in Australia, with offices in all states. In 2008 we restructured out of IT and focused on the Audio Visual (AV) market. In the last decade Westan has diversified its portfolio and supplies to all facets of the AV Industry, not just in Australia but also New Zealand and Asia- Pacific.
Westan distributes products on the cutting edge of audio-visual technology including digital signage, digital menu boards, LED walls, videowalls, large format and high brightness projection, commercial televisions for hotel, hospital and aged care along with audio-visual products for consumers from high desirable brands including Epson, Samsung, Philips, Polk Audio, Denon and Marantz.
Westan operates nationally with headquarters in Melbourne and branches, including sales and warehousing, in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane. Westan also operates in New Zealand and Singapore, with warehousing and sales offices in both locations, as well as selling into the whole APAC region in the Hotel TV Channel.
We are actively growing our commercial business and customer base, and we are pursuing strategic partnerships with new brands and new distribution opportunities to achieve this.
We are looking to compliment our key products from Philips Signage, Retail and Hotel TV as well as Epson Projectors with other visual products suitable for the B2B channel.

We believe we are the most flexible distributor in our space and offer services including pre-validation of your commercial AV delivery technologies, solution consulting and integrated cloud-based help-desk support for end users and our field-based service providers.
